Project Description
Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe is a finished project. It is near tic-tac-toe in rules and gameplay, except played on a 4x4 grid and you need to get 4 in a row to win.
You play against a friend (or yourself) and there is optional background music.

This is the first project I've ever undertaken, and is also the first 'real' program I've done, except for "hello world" type things. I programed it using c++ and SDL, so it should be completely cross-platform. I was only able to provide a Windows binary, but I was able to easily and quickly build it on Linux. Instructions are included in the README file.

After a few small modifications, I was able to confirm that the game does indeed play on other Windows machines, as well as my Linux (Ubuntu) machine. With a big smile, I now present the finished product. Feel free to contact me on any topic. A quick note to those that may look at the source: since this was my first coding project, the source does at times resemble spaghetti code. I put in many comments, but if you need help understanding why I did something a certain way, or would like to offer advice as to how I should have done something, feel free to contact me.

I realized that it didn't work on any computer except my own, so I'm going to make a few changes to try and fix that. Also, I removed the binary because I just received an email from one of the bands I was using music from, and I need to make a small change to the way they receive credit. Hopefully all changes will be made by this weekend, and I apologize to anyone whom had already downloaded the binary.

Everything is now complete. I'm waiting on getting copyright permission for the music tracks, then I will make the releases available.

As of right now, the game is nearly complete. All that remains is slightly tweaking the text layout, and adding music. In a matter of days, a release will be ready for Windows, and shortly thereafter for Linux.

Fixed a minor bug, and gave the 'new game' button the ability to actually start a new game. Screenshots taken, and uploaded.

Good progress. Note: the uploaded source code is out of date. I'll put a current version up once it... works.
